Here are some wires of the high resolution model. Note that I applied polySmooth to the mesh (I accidentally deleted the construction history :P). Currently gathering references for a compact assault rifle, I have my eyes set on the G36C by the famous Heckler & Koch.
Gee...that's a lot of subtools imported to zbrush for sculpting. Do you prefer baking using xnormal or zbrush?
ReplyDeleteI use the zmapper plugin for zbrush 3 (3.5 no longer has it) for baking. And no, i don't export every piece of geom from the high res model as subtools. I combine them into pieces such as the head, torso, upper/lower arms, hands, thighs, lower legs and feet before baking.
